The Story Behind the Sweetness:
Southern Baked Pie Company was founded by an innovative entrepreneur, Amanda Wilbanks, and was initially named Buttermilk Pie Company at the time of establishment in 2012 in Gainesville, Georgia. Amanda is an alumna of the University of Georgia with a simple yet profound love for baking. She had some cherished family recipes and profound influence from her Southern roots and family traditions, which led to her drawing inspiration from them and starting her own passionate baking business. She and her dedicated team crafted gourmet sweet and savory pies. The oh-so-yummy pies have an all-butter crust melting in your mouth and a comforting taste ideal for all kinds of special occasions and celebrations.
Amanda’s vision was to share the joy of homemade pies with a broader audience. Southern Baked Pie Company gained popularity fast because of the quality of their pies and the nostalgic feeling they offer. They are prepared with extreme care and attention, evident from each pie.

CARAMEL PECAN PIE
Our Gluten-Free Caramel Pecan Pie is a treat presenting a blend of high-quality ingredients. The main ingredient of this pie is freshly roasted Georgia pecans, which have a rich, buttery flavor. These pecans are covered in our splendid, homemade caramel, and each bite brings a smooth and creamy sweetness to the palate. The pie is further enveloped in a gluten-free crust, allowing people with gluten sensitivities to enjoy this delightful offering.
For those who prefer a traditional option, the pie comes in our signature homemade all-butter crust, beautifying the overall richness of the product. The delicious combination is why our Caramel Pecan Pie earned the title of the official pie of Gainesville, GA, and it became the winner of the 2016 Flavor of Georgia competition.
Flavor Profile
The flavor profile of the Caramel Pecan pie is no less than a delight. The roasted Georgia pecans bring a nutty flavor with a slight sweet taste. The additional layer of homemade caramel with velvety sweetness makes a perfect balance. The gluten-free crust gives a subtle backdrop as it is light and flaky, which makes the pecans and caramel flavors shine. With the all-butter crust, enjoy the richer taste, offering the nuttiness of the filling.
What are the Common Allergens?
Please note that the pie contains some common allergens. The primary allergens are pecans and dairy. Pecans are the main ingredients of tree nuts, while the caramel and butter crust consists of dairy products. Moreover, the gluten-free version of our caramel pecan pie is safe for people with gluten intolerance, whereas the traditional all-butter crust version does have gluten. Hence, people with tree nut or dairy allergies should not have this pie, and those with gluten allergies must go for the gluten-free version.

VEGETABLE POT PIE
Our Vegetable Pot Pie is a tasty and wholesome dish for those who prefer a rich, vegetarian-friendly option—featuring a vibrant display of vegetables, including peas, carrots, red-skinned potatoes, and onions. Peas add a sweet and earthy flavor to the pie, while carrots add mild sweetness and a bit of crunch, complementing the other vegetables perfectly. Red-skinned potatoes give a creamy texture and a subtle, nutty flavor. Onions provide a layer of depth and savoriness, improving the overall taste. The house-made roux works as a creamy base made from a blend of butter and flour, which makes a rich and smooth filling. The double all-butter crust is an ideal contrast to the creamy filling as it is flaky and buttery.
The fresh garden ingredients are masterfully seasoned to bring out their best flavors, offering a blast of savory goodness in each bite. The veggies are combined with a satisfying homemade roux. The delightful mixture is nestled in a double all-butter crust, which adds a rich texture to the pie.

While our Vegetable Pot Pie is an excellent option for consuming vegetables, it does contain some common allergens that must be kept in mind.
